酒樽（和樽）を海外発送する

最近、和樽を海外に発送したいという要望が多くなりました。
多くが外国で結婚式を挙げたいという方です。
海外在住の方々によるパーティにも使われます。
「鏡開き用　KAGAMI-BIRAKI」を選ばれる方が多い傾向があります。

清酒入りの酒樽を海外発送出来るのは蔵元だけなので、樽屋は空樽だけを梱包して出荷します。
運賃を考えると清酒は現地で調達した方が廉価です。

菰巻の和樽は植物検疫により輸出は不可能です。
ビニール菰という方法もありますが、味気ないものですし、
重量や容積も増えますので、菰を巻かずに裸の和樽で杉と竹のすがすがしさを海外の方にも味わって頂きたいと樽屋としては考えます。

FedEx 、DHL、 EMS等 さまざまな海外発送の方法があります。
昔と違って、全て航空便ですから、世界１２０数ヶ国に二三日で届きます。
日本国内の離島へ送るより早いのには驚かされます。

TARU-ZAKE
Keg Sake
Taru-zake has undergone an aging period in Japanese ceder barrels.
Such sake has a distinctive aroma ,directly attributable to the wood of the keg.
The finest wood for this purpose is held to be from Kawakami of Yoshino in Nara Prefecture.
At weddings,festivals,election victories,and other moments of celebration.
sake is often served from the keg(frequently in masu ,square boxs made of japanese ceder).

This is not taru-zake in the sense given above ,since it is not aged in wood ,but filled shortly
before use.

やはり、樽酒は香りが命なのです。
それも奈良県吉野郡川上村の杉で作った和樽が清酒の容器としては最高なのです。
